  1. Planning and supervision of profit-seeking enterprise income tax collection.
  2. Profit-seeking enterprise income tax return business.
  3. Auditing and control of profit-seeking enterprise income tax.
  4. Consultation of profit-seeking enterprise income tax-related laws.
  5. Registration of certified public bookkeeper, bookkeeping and tax return filing agent, and tax agent, and management of related professional training institutions.

Individual Income, Estate and Gift Tax Division

  1. Planning, supervision and evaluation of individual income tax returns (including individual house and land transactions income tax).
  2. Planning, supervision and evaluation of withholding and non-withholding tax categories.
  3. Planning and supervision of case review of professional practitioner and other income.
  4. Planning, supervision and evaluation of individual income tax for overseas Chinese and foreign taxpayers.
  5. Planning, investigation, and control of individual cases.
  6. Planning and auditing estate and gift tax collection operations, and review and auditing of large-amount estate and gift taxes.
  7. Consultation and clarification of tax regulations related to individual income tax and estate and gift tax.

Sales Tax Division

  1. Planning, supervision and relevant administrative affairs of business tax collection.
  2. Project planning, supervision and relevant administrative affairs of business tax.
  3. Investigation of cases of business entities issuing false Uniform Invoices.
  4. Responsible for collection, examination and planning of commodity tax, tobacco and alcohol tax, securities transactions tax, futures transactions tax, and specifically selected goods and services tax.
  5. Investigation of information of tax evasion and employment income falsely reported. (inform tel.06-2225542)
  6. Investigation of reported cases that involve in tax violations and evasion.

Legal Affairs Division

  1. Examination of rechecks (profit-seeking enterprise income tax, individual income tax, value-added and non-value-added business tax, estate and gift tax, securities transaction tax, futures transaction tax, commodity tax, tobacco and alcohol tax, specifically selected goods and services tax, etc).
  2. Examination of violations (profit-seeking enterprise income tax, individual income tax, value-added and non-value-added business tax, estate and gift tax, securities transaction tax, futures transaction tax, commodity tax, tobacco and alcohol tax, specifically selected goods and services tax, etc).
  3. Administrative duties regarding taxpayer rights protection matters.
  4. Granting whistleblower rewards by law.
  5. Examination and determination of the applications of state compensation.
  6. Consultation and study of tax regulations.

  1. Compilation of the operational policies, administrative plans and the overall operational guidelines of the Administration.

  4. Planning, design, and execution of automated systems of various tax items.
  5. Operation of various automation procedures.
  6. Planning of automation projects and control of operation schedules.

Secretariat

Responsible for managing official seal, documentation general affairs, cashier work, and archive tasks, such as general reception and distribution of official documents; management, maintenance, and disposal of properties and inventories; handling of payments forall expenses and signing and issuance of checks; management of processing, bookbinding, reservation, and archiving of documents and files.

Responsible for organizing the compilation, placing positions to series, appointment, dismissal and transfer of personnel, dynamics of general qualification screening, evaluating awards and punishments, training and continuing education, attendance and vacation management, payment and welfare, insurance, retirement and pensions, entertainment activities, and data management.

  1. Promotion of public integrity and social participation.
  2. Preparation, promotion, and execution of laws concerning public integrity and precautions.
  3. Preparation, coordination, and promotion of the suggestions on public integrity reform.
  4. Affairs in relation to civil servants’ assets declaration, recusal of interest conflicts, and integrity and ethics.
  5. Handling of matters concerning corruption and illegitimacies on the part of the office.
  6. Complete a check of affairs carrying risks of corruption.
  7. Handling and coordination of protection of official confidential information of the office.
