History
- The Xinhua Office, National Taxation Administration of Southern Taiwan Province, Ministry of Finance, was established on September 1, 1992, and shares offices with the Xinhua Branch of the Tax Collection Office of Tainan County (reformed into the Xinhua Branch of the Finance and Taxation Bureau of Tainan City)
- Relocated to the current site in January 2003. It was originally the warehouse of the Tobacco and Wine Publicity Bureau of Taiwan Province.
- Cooperated with government organizations on January 1, 2013, and was renamed as "Xinhua Office, National Taxation Bureau of the Southern Area, Ministry of Finance".
- Participated in the 7th "Government Service Quality Award" in 2014 and was rated as excellent by the Ministry of Finance.
- Participated in the 1st "Government Service Award" in 2017 and was rated as excellent by the Ministry of Finance, and recommended to participate in the Government Service Award of the Executive Yuan.
- Participated in the 2nd "Government Service Award" in 2018 and was rated as excellent by the Ministry of Finance
